Ten Golden Tickets Awarded!!

More than 1,500 players competed nationally in the Golden Ticket events with South East Queensland leading the way with 425 runners. The Sydney events drew 335 and 200 whilst Victoria and South Australia drew 335 and 194 respectively in their states lone events. Mackay's event hit just under 100 with 94 runners, while Western Australia also did well with 144 runners.

There were plenty of smiles to be had as each event wrapped up around 8.30pm AEST and the network was presented with each of the winners:

Chris Milliner outlasted 424 opponents to claim his Golden Ticket in Qld and Tina from Mackay represented in North Queensland.

NSW saw four tickets awarded to Cheryl Sumbar, Mala Kita, Ralph Gallo and Daniel Magrin. North Sydney satelitte winner James Kavanagh will also be hitting Crown for a chance to win the MAIN EVENT, taking down 20 other runners for the opportunity.

Victoria's event awarded two Golden tickets to Javier Luppino and John Mitchell but also ran a satellite that saw two more Main Event entries awarded to Billy Oggero and Gerard Van Der Burg.

South Australia rounds off the events with Cesare Nudo winning his event after a tense, back and forth, heads up battle!

Western Australia's Dot Bagshaw will also be headed to Crown with a $1,200 ticket and $800 cash.
