The 888PL and APL are proud to announce that the MAIN EVENT dates are locked and loaded. The event you have all been waiting for will hit the ground at Melbournes luxurious and prestigious Crown Entertainment Complex from Thursday 23rd February to Sunday 26th February.
The teams at APL, 888PL and Crown have worked hard to put together a program that is more than just a poker tournament!
An action packed four-day festival is scheduled, including a Last Chance Qualifier for those desperate for the very last seats into the MAIN EVENT, a Satellite, a Two Player Teams Event, also the APL Player of the Year Final - an eight player table, battling it out for the POTY title and the Winner Take All prize pool of $45,000! Although plenty of the action will take place at the felt of the infamous, Crown Poker Room, we can't forget the hot-shoe shuffling that will take place at the MAIN EVENT Players Party!
Qualifiers from both APL and 888PL will take part in the first ever co-branded MAIN EVENT, boasting an estimated expected $500,000* prizepool. With the integration of Australias leaders in pub & club poker, we expect up to 600 players to hit the tables on Day 1 of this tournament, with hundreds of friends, family and fellow poker enthusiasts coming along to be a part of this spectacular event.
The MAIN EVENT will be a 3-day poker tournament with all qualifiers taking their seats on Friday 24th February which is Day 1 of the event. It will be survival of the (poker) fittest and luckiest from there on in, as players strive to survive each day in order to continue their journey towards being crowned the inaugural MAIN EVENT Champion.
